Quick Start

This page covers a local quick deploy. For other options, see Deployment in the sidebar.

Install Docker

There are many ways to install Docker:

• Windows: Docker Desktop is recommended.
• macOS: OrbStack is recommended.
• Debian / Ubuntu and similar:

apt install -y curl && curl -sSL https://get.docker.com | sudo sh

Deploy IPA Harbor

Open a terminal and use either method below.

A. One-click script (recommended)

bash <(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ij369/ipa-harbor/main/quick-deploy.sh)

B. Manual deploy

docker run -d \
  -p 3388:3080 \
  -e KEYCHAIN_PASSPHRASE=$(openssl rand -base64 15 | tr -dc 'A-Za-z0-9' | head -c10) \
  -e ADMIN_INIT_PIN=20251024 \
  -e PORT=3080 \
  -v ipa_data:/app/data \
  --name ipa-harbor \
  --restart unless-stopped \

Setup

Open http://localhost:3388 in your browser.

On first visit you are sent to /setup. Create the admin username and password, and enter the init PIN: 20251024.

Note This guide uses a fixed PIN for convenience only. For real deployments, set ADMIN_INIT_PIN to a random value. The PIN is only for the initial admin setup and is not used after configuration is complete.

First Apple ID login

The first Apple ID sign-in runs Unicorn/SAP emulation. The host should have more than 1 GB of free RAM, or configure at least 2 GB of swap.
